I restarted the game several times and everytime the fatal error would happen the second I hit "Next" to continue. This can be avoided by completely skipping the cinematic, but I would have liked to get the story part of the game too. The developer doesn't have access to the source code anymore (read the Steam discussions), so any bugs and issues like the one mentioned above will never be fixed. Hardcore HOG fans might be interested in picking up the game, but I wouldn't recommend it, unless you get the game during a sale and only if you don't mind the flaws. There are other issues with the game - check the other reviews and the forum.. I wanted to like this game but some of the graphics feel dated because the resolution seems quite low. You have to run it in fullscreen to really be able to see the HO puzzles, which is annoying to me. Maybe if this game is updated, I may give it another try, but I have no interest in finishing this game as-is at this time.. This game is definetely not the best Hidden Object game, but it was still okay. The worst part was the beginning, it was really strange and you just bumped into it. The story in general was good and there were also very difficult puzzles to solve. Also the graphics were cool and there was a gloomy atmosphere. The ending was too short but still okay. I wouldn't buy the game at full price because it isn't that worth, but when there is a sale, then you can buy it without hesitation.. I wish I could give a neutral recommendation for this one. I didn't hate it but it wasn't the best either. Some of the puzzles were too easy. Others didn't have clear instructions so I just skipped those. The graphics were good. I played on a Win 7 pc, so I didn't have problems running the game. The story was really weird. I didn't like the beginning. I was waiting for my cards to drop or I might not have played past it. The ending wasn't bad, but it kinda scared me though. When I got to the end, my first though was "Oh god, don't tell they are making a part 2". I would recommend only if it is really, really cheap or if you have a severe love of HOGs.. The story seems interesting, but the game crashes with a fatal error. I haven't been able to proceed. Beyond that, it is also difficult because the graphics are not great, making it really hard to find things for HOG. I would avoid this one and go with something else.
